Maligne Lake Southeastern Mountains

Location: Maligne lake is located south of Jasper in Jasper National Park. It is located about 40 Kilometers southeast of the Jasper townsite.

Find the location: Copy the coordinates below. Open Google Earth, paste the coordinates into "Fly To" and click on the magnifying glass.

Equipment: Canon EOS 5D, 28-105 lens, polarizing filter. Shot at f22, 1/4 second set on ISO 50.

Digital imaging/manipulation: Darked sky slightly.

Notes: Lighting for the mountains comes from the west. The trip in takes you past Medicine Lake and several very photogenic peaks.
